The thing is, Allen & Allen is able to guide you to make more comprehensive, informed decisions. Also, quite frankly, having an insurance agent helps hold insurance companies more accountable. To insurance companies, agents are sort of portals from which they can get more business. Mess up too much with an agency, they’re probably going to stop using/recommending your company. So through an agency, you can find knowledgeable guidance towards selecting the company and plan that fits you best, and in a sense and within obvious limits, you also have an advocate.
